This is the interior of the main house it is very open and airy with lots of windows to view the surrounding property! I did not go nuts and jam pack the rooms with lots of furniture I kept it simple since we had a lot outside! The ladder has a built-in climbing feature to get up to the loft style bedroom!

This is the kitchen that comes with the house its super cute with the stove, wood and lamp it is very antique and lovely! There was a lot of extra space in the kitchen area so I added more to the other side because I am in love with this set!

Once you climb up the ladder to the bedroom there are tons of beautifully shaped windows and a door to small balcony off the bedroom which was one of my favorite little details of this cottage! Again, I kept the bedroom simple with just a few essentials!

I am raving about the windows because I felt very much like a kid on Christmas morning every time I caught a glimpse out one of the windows! This smaller one in the bedroom let me spy on what Ice was up to adding snowmen and sleds! :P The second photo is the adorable door that led the balcony!

Our favorite part of our personal Winter Wonderland was the yard! We even celebrated New Year’s Eve on our frozen lake!

We really had a blast in our winter paradise for a few months which is a long time for us! I think because he liked tossing frozen balls of snow and ice at meh D:!!!

Eventually, the snow got old :( as all things tend to do in SL lol so it was time to think and think and think about what to do next!!

 Hrmsssssss…….we thought why not torture our neighbors/sisters and toss out an old castle >:D

Based on the pic above of our castle which my sister, Tara Voskhod, snapped the torture worked >:D!! Then it was time to get serious…….which is when inspiration struck!

We always have additional homes in the sky so our Winter Wonderland turned into a Tropical Deserted Island!!!!! The only problem is that I have always lived on an island in Second Life, and I felt like it was always the same boring look. Well…. needless to say with mesh everything is better plus Ice went crazy!!

We ran over to a good friend’s place, Tiki Tattoo, and whoa has Hatz been busy! I fell in love with these linked huts with bridges and our island began ;)

The little starfish and shells on the sand are the main controls for the lights on the property.

It is always a good idea to be safe with a lifeguard when at the beach! This super cute detailed stand was perfect and the poses are adorable! Must have ;)

I fell in love with this palm tree at Tiki Tattoo the base has huge letters carved from wood that says ALOHA!

Aloha in the Hawaiian language means affection, peace, compassion and mercy. It is more commonly used today as a greeting to say goodbye and hello!

Please come on into our home!

Please note all the photos below have not been edited just cropped, windlight settings from in-world and on a few I did make them a bit lighter so the items could be seen better.

This is our front yard which as you can see has been terraformed to create little rolling hills and we covered the entire plot/ground with various sizes, domes, circles and squares of grass from Kidd Creations. It gave the property a sense of depth and comfy-ness (Yes I made this word up!) The sim is currently textured with Botanicals Medium Manicured Grass MediumTexture.

Of course we needed a barn! That is Ice’s man cave… it is actually 2 buildings which can be seen in the next 2 photos.  He now has a place to escape when I am rattling around being fussy :P

It proved to be more difficult than we had anticipated finding a barn we loved.  The Roxy Stable had a lot of great details in it; the only issue we found is that it is no mod so Ice is a wee bit disappointed because he wanted to take the stables out and park his tractor in there. The tractor he is obsessed with…so instead it is parked in the grass! -_-

The ‘man cave’ featured above is his own area I haven’t touched it… too much!

These amazing stone walls line the perimeter of the house and are mod so the color was tinted in various sections to add a little bit more detail! While some might say I was just wasting prims *coughs* I think these few bits along the wall make the place seem more natural!

I was very lucky Ice did not find this home too girly! It was love at first sight on marketplace and I have been dying for a Victorian style home in SL but the choices are very limited.  Most of the Victorian homes in world still have alpha windows :S I did beg and plead with Maxwell Graf of Rustica to make one. =) Maybe he will! *HINT HINT*

As they say…magic happens here lol. Actually, some magic did happen here when we bought this cottage! The room used to end at the seam you can see in the floor about mid-way through the room and there was a railing so the rooms below could be seen.  This original construction of the cottage did not leave us enough space to have a small bath area.  Again my mister fix-it husband modified the house and doubled the size of our bedroom.  We have kept this room very simple.

These are the two rooms below our extended bedroom that used to be visible from the second floor.  The ceiling is now covered with a piece of the bedroom floor instead of vaulted. It really looked cute either way! This is my favorite kitchen – ever.
